The Jon Shaw Foundation is a collective of friends and family of Jon. They are on a mission to help young people with epilepsy and others who have lost close friends or family in honour of Jon's memory.
Not enough people know about Sudden and Unexpected Death in Epilepsy (SUDEP) and they aim to inform everyone the risks of this medical condition.
The Jon Shaw Foundation offer financial assistance for equipment and services that are usually not available through the NHS e.g. monitors, alarms, anti-suffociation pillows and more.
Helping people understand more about vascular EDS by teaching the public and medical professionals about the condition.
Supporting efforts to find better ways to detect and diagnose vascular EDS early, aiming to improve health outcomes.
Offering financial help, guidance, and practical advice to individuals with vascular EDS to support their physical and mental well-being.

Annabelle's Challenge is continuing its work with MedicAlert as a protection programme partner, to fund a 2-year renewal of membership for existing MedicAlert members with vEDS.
MedicAlert have kindly agreed to support this by funding an additional 6 months, meaning we're able to offer an 24-month membership renewal!
This offer will run until 31st December 2024 and is a available to vEDS members of Annabelle's Challenge who have an existing membership with MedicAlert UK. On acceptance your existing direct debit will be suspended for 24 months.
