About Our Partnership

The MedicAlert Protection Programme is a partnership with Newcastle Upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust designed to support aHUS patients and their families. This collaboration provides eligible patients with a free first-year MedicAlert membership and a medical ID, engraved with vital details and linked to our 24/7 emergency helpline.

By combining MedicAlert’s expertise in life-saving services with the Trust’s commitment to patient care, we aim to empower patients, raise awareness of aHUS, and ensure they have the tools to manage their health and stay safe in emergencies.
