MedicAlert Bracelets caters for all medical conditions and all style needs. We don't have IDs specifically for any one condition but what we do offer is: 1. The 'Forget-Me-Not' bracelet which requires a second person to remove it so it is very useful for conditions such as dementia and autism to ensure the member wears the ID when they leave home. 2. For members who are sensitive to cold or metal, we offer silicone and fabric IDs that prevent the metal disk from touching your skin. If the member has a silicone allergy, we have fabric and beaded IDs.
Different products are better suited to different activities. For example, most Stainless Steel can be worn in water. Please refer to the product descriptions in the shop for specific information or call our team if you have any questions.
Wash metal and silicone straps regularly in warm, soapy water. Spot clean fabric or leather straps and beads, using a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive cloths and avoid contacts with cleaning products. Perspiration, aftershave and creams can increase tarnishing. Avoid contact where possible. Please note; when your jewellery is new and highly polished, a cleaning cloth may dull its appearance. Enamel can be affected by wear and tear. Avoid denting or scratching the enamel. To avoid scratching, do not wear silver or gold jewellery alongside other items. Do not bathe or swim in silver or gold jewellery.
