Supporting children and young people at Royal Brompton and Harefield hospitals

The Brompton Fountain and MedicAlert Protection Project provides two years free MedicAlert membership, along with a piece of medical ID jewellery. 


This scheme is funded by The Brompton Fountain, with a discount provided by MedicAlert, to enable the charity's funds to go further and support more patients.

How it works

Membership provides you or you child with a personal online record to securely store medical information, including medical conditions, allergies, medications, history, emergency contacts and scanned documents, alongside directives or precautions to ensure no time is lost in an emergency.


You will also receive a piece of medical ID jewellery for free. The disc on the jewellery will be engraved with the most vital information, your or your child's unique membership number and our 24/7 emergency helpline, so that first responders can access the full online record if necessary.

Who can apply?

If you have been handed information from either the Royal Brompton and Harefield hospital, you are eligible to apply to this scheme for yourself or your child.

Places for the scheme are limited and may not always be available due to funding. You may be placed on a waiting list if no spaces are available at the time of your application.
